Which side of the line?0
I really did not know what was the difference between a Democrat and Republican. Now, I know. A person that is a democrat has the idea of having the government help out around here and pay for many things. The would rather have the government help with health care and have the government lay down laws on certain problems. Democrats are more as a union with the whole country. The government does a lot. On the republican side though, they would rather have things work out on their own. The states have more of an opinion on what they do. Businesses have the choice of who they want to hire and how things work. Rather than the government putting down laws to stop pollution like democrats, the republicans would have the business work the problem out themselves.
When I am older and I can register to vote I think that the party I would want to vote for is the democratic party. I think that the government should help us out more. If we were all republicans the businesses around would not stop and try to solve the pollution. I really think that the government needs to lay down laws and pay attention to the problems going on in the world. Many problems are happening in the world today and the government is not doing much. We have to pay attention. The problems need to be solved and sometimes the only way to do that is to lay down the laws. I would be on the democratic side because I know that I need rules and that is what keeps me on track and do what I am suppose to do. When the country is more on their own with a lot of there own decisions things could fall apart. What about health care. The government should provide health care to everyone. The republicans thing that people should work and earn there health care. What if the sick person does not have health care and then can’t get medication. What if her sickness spreads. I need rules to stay organized and if I need rules many others do too. The united states, the fifty states, need rules to be civil.
