I randomly picked someone on the Today In History paper and i got, Nia Long. Nia long was born October 30, 1970 in New York. She is an American Actress and a music video director. Some movies you might have heard of that she acted in are, Are We There Yet? and Big Momma’s House. She is still alive today and I think she brought a lot of great things into this world. She must have inspired many people in her acting career and I know that many people love acting. She is in great movies and people must enjoy watching her. She is also a dance director and many people want to become dancers or directors and she is probably wonderful at it and inspires many others. Her mother was an art teacher and her father was a high school teacher so she was around a lot of teachers and maybe thats way she’s like a dance teacher and the art from her mother is in the acting.

I emailed Masonic because I think that nursing is important. It isn’t a joke bcause you’re helping people and caring for people that trust you. They do the best they can to help people. SInce my dad hsa been in the hospital it is really important to me that the nurses do what they are suppose to be doing and help. He is not at masonic but I still think that any hospital or nursing home should get credit for what they do. People do not appreciate them as much as they should. You know that these nurses or any nurse can be helping someone’s life right now. I think that even though they get thanks form the patient they helped other people should apprecitte them for what they do. I think that this is an important organization that everyone could thatnk. I picked this with the help of my dad and the fact that i pass by it like evryday but how would you feel if you went to the hospital. Would you sit there and be waiting for a nurse while they are playing something on the computer. Maybe some people do that but not the people that actually care!!! I also picked do do some kind of health place because I wann be a nurse when I am older but with the babies like my mom.
The question I asked them was do they know how much lives the have touched and how much peopple should appreciatte what you do. I also asked them how they decided to get the job they wanted and why they try to help people.

I went on google and searched for a blog about puppies. I came upon this subject because I have a puupy, I love animals, and to see if there was anything interesting on dogs out there. This is about someone who wants a knew puppy to train and compete with and she has pictures and videos of puppies on her blog.
“I’ve been realizing for a while that both my beagle girls are going to be around agility retirement age in about 2-3 years, and I’m going to want to have a dog to compete with.”
She likes the bree of beagles. She has many cute pictures of beagle puppies on her blog. She has a couple of videos. What I learned was that beagles are so cute when they are puppies and that this girl compettes with her dogs in dog competitions and wants to get a knew puppyu to train. Obviously this girl must be really good at training dogs and I think that is really cool.
The comment I left her was… I think that the puppies on your blog are adorable. I came upon your blog while searching for a blog about puppies and I am so happy that I did because I love the videos and pictures on your blog. We just got a knew puppy. We named him Tucker. He is a minature pinshcer, chihuahua, and jack russel terrier mix. He is really cool but he is like really hiper and we should have named him trouble. Is it easy to train puppies for a competition? It must be a lot of work. I just wish my dog would be well be haved but I guess it takes time and treats.

Samoa is a group of islands that are sacred to the Polynesian people. It is slightly smaller than Rhode Island. Samoa is south of Hawaii but slightly north of New Zeland. There are two parts od Samoa, the American Samoa whisc is a little smaller than the actual Samoa. The people that live there speak english but they do have their own Samoan language. Many Samoans have tattoos to represant their culture. I actually got the idea of looking this place up when this wrestler had a tattoo on it that said Samoa. They have villages and there houses now are built with more modern materials.

What do you think about pollution??????
To be honest with you I HATE IT!!! It isn’t fair for anybody that pollution is occuring. Do you all know that people are killing animals and factories are destroying our air just by polluting. Animals are sweet and inocent and with out good air we will die. First of all there are so many lazy people in the worls. They should be acting like Mr. Bogush and ride a bike to school if it isn’t to far away. He spend about 40 minutes riding his bike to school if though it would take longer than a regular 25 minutes on a car. Then there are those people who throw paper and plastic and all those other things down on the ground. Now where do you think they go. Right into the ocean or lake or anywhere really!! Now anywhere must have some type of animal living there right? Exactly, there someone goes hurting another animal. Now you should think about it. If there is a gas station 5 minutes away from your house and your mom wants to get a gallon of milk or something why don’t you just go ride your bike and get it for her. Stop POLLUTION and help the EARTH!! What types of things do you do to help the Earth??

The podcast I listen to was really cool.It was about how these people wanted to explore all different things under water.They talked about DNA and all these other things they do when they find something new. I thought it was interesting. I honestly did not know what topic to listen to a podcast on so when i was think i remember my brothers and I always wondered what cretures could be in the ocean so I thought it would be an interesting topic. I do consider this podcast to people because it is very educational. I listen to this podcast after searching it on itunes and I thought it was amazing how they just dive into the water and then search for things. The comment I sent to the NOAA Ocean Explorer was that… Today I listened to your podcast and I thought it was really interesting. I was always wondering how many creatures and bacteria could live down there. It is really cool that you get to explore under the water and not hurt the animals.

With 95 percent of the ocean unexplored, we don’t really know how many
marine organisms live in the ocean. We do know that we find new species
of animals each time to explore the ocean to obtain specimens of ocean
animals.

I asked myself a lot of questions when my dad got hurt. First I asked myself will he be all right but what I really wanted to ask myself is how would this affect my life.
Here are some questions I’d like you to answer and the answer in italics is my answer and how it affected me.
1. If one of your dad got hurt would you still play a sport? I was thinking about quiting dance and soccer when my dad got hurt. I didn’t know if I would have time or if we would afford it after have to take care of my dad. I asked my dad and he asked that it was my choice. He said he would rather have me keep playing soccer and dance because I should have fun and it might keep your worries off of me. It was true and attending in sports really gets my mind off of things .
2. If one of your parents got hurt what would be your role in helping around the house? I have a lot of things to do around the house. I cook dinner a lot if I have time or my mom doesn’t cook before I do. I clean a lot around the house and in the mornings I get my 6th grade brother ready for school and make breakfast. I do a lot around the house now and sometimes I do things outside. A couple of days ago my dad came to visit home and he told my mom she try trimming one of the bushes in my front lawn. The day after no one was home and i trimmed it. It actually didn’t look that bad.
3. how would you try to help out your injured parent while it is hurt now? First, my dad is like really worried about our grades so I try to do my best at school everyday. And he is very proud of me. Then I help him by trying to go see him as often as possible. The thing I do the most is congratulate him when he does his therapy because he said if it weren’t for his kids he probably wouldn’t be trying hard and wanting to get off of that bed. I encourage him to do his best and I know he does.
I was wondering if you were in my situtation what would you do? Answer back!!!

There are so many things that I wish could get out of my way so that I can follow my goals and dreams. The first thing is money. I want to go to a private high school and a really good college. Going to those takes money and sorry to say but money doesn’t grow on trees. The next thing is that time is going by way to fast. I wanted to try another sport besides soccer and dance but I wouldn’t have enough time. I get home and do y homework if I don’t have dance or soccer practice then after I go to see my dad at the hospital. Sometimes the only time I actually go outside is when I’m getting in or out of a car. By the time I am done with everything it is either really dark out or its almost midnight! One thing I hope will happen soon is that my dog will get potty trained. But, I am the only one who gives him a treat in my family because the others are too lazy. But my final hope is that my dad will be able to walk and move normally like he used to. It seems like the nurses aren’t even doing anything. By the time the nurse gets to my dad he would forget what he needed in the first place because they are so slow. His physical therapy is going well but it seems like there is enough. THERE ISN”T ENOUGH OF ANYTHING ANYMORE!!!!!

I have many different sports that I like. My first favorite sport is soccer. Since I am Portuguese I like watching many Portuguese soccer teams play. Then I like football. I love watching it on T.V. and I love playing it with my brothers. My next favorite sport would be dance. Here are some links on my favorite sport teams…
